A frozen land with dead soil is no place for Risu.

Risu’s official mission is to help the rodents of Mausfjord island restore their soil so they can farm again. But her unofficial mission? She and her friends are to spy on the tyrant who has an eye set on Risu’s home. And she can’t sit by while there are slaves on this island. The ruler seems more interested in taking their food than growing his own.

Blodtorstig is a brute who wants to expand his power. Not only does he have his own plans for Risu and her friends, but he has an alchemist who promises the power to turn rodents into frothing, rabid monsters. Commoners are just a commodity to him, and he has no problem using them in his foul experiments. Risu has to stop a famine, prevent a war, and free an island of slaves before the cold, starvation, and madness take over.

Shadows Protect Them

Risu must lead a rebellion.

Risu returns home to warn her people that the coal-hearted Blodtorstig sails for Kinoumi’s shores. The island is unprotected, and all attempts to bolster their defenses have failed, sabotaged by their island’s own leader. Juggling uneasy alliances, Risu finds that it is up to her to alert the cities to the impending danger, even if it means she must defy those who stand in her way.

Blodtorstig will stop at nothing until Kinoumi falls under his iron paws. Major cities lie in unrest, easy targets for the approaching invader. Rumors abound that some nobles will pledge themselves to him in exchange for wealth and protection. If Risu can’t convince the faithful to turn on their lords and prepare for the upcoming fight, the starvation and ruin that has plagued the other islands will devour Kinoumi.

Book 1

Mummified Moon

In a cold galaxy where Humans are an oppressed minority, one woman dared to dream. Doctoral student Alize Oze finds robot maintenance isn’t as glamorous as guiding museum tours, especially with her father’s failing health looming on her mind. When her professors expel her over delving into forbidden research, she leaves her job and studies behind to pursue her theory: an artifact of unspeakable power is buried on a forgotten moon.

Joined by her best friend and a shifty thief, they smuggle aboard a ship, only to be double-crossed, then hijacked by pirates. They have to steal an escape pod and pick up a pirate defector to reach the moon. Unbeknownst to them, a group of terrorists learned about her theories and want the artifact for themselves. Alize enters the tomb as the terrorists arrive.

The artifact, however, does not appreciate these intruders disturbing its slumber. Some secrets were meant to be forgotten. Fans of archaeological adventures, eldritch monsters, and galactic exploration will love MUMMIFIED MOON. It’s like Lara Croft awoke Cthulhu while running from ISIS.

Severed Squadron

Even badass vigilantes need mechanics.

Joka Bunear is just a lowly grease monkey in a gang full of bigger and stronger alien vigilantes. Not to mention a human. To level the playing field, she invents a spacesuit and is finally invited on a field mission … as a joke. After the mission is sabotaged and the gang goes into hiding, Joka intercepts a message meant for her boss regarding a kidnapped scientist, but the leader refuses to pursue the lead.

Joka joined this gang because she believes in helping the galaxy’s downtrodden. With the most annoying crewmate tagging along, Joka steals a ship to pursue the lead. A simple stop to refuel turns into a terrorist encounter when they realize they are not the only ones pursuing the scientist. Little does Joka know, the scientist’s research has garnered dark fruit that will endanger everyone.

Joka will return to the gang a legend or not at all. Fans of spaceship dogfights, sci fi horrors, and galactic exploration will love SEVERED SQUADRON. It’s like Calamity Jane vs. ISIS amidst Dr. Frankenstein’s fever dream—if he’d dreamt about aliens.
